Terms of Use

By working with Unroot Design or using this website, you agree to the terms below.

1. Project assets and storage

Once a project is complete, all requested assets are delivered and final payment is received, we keep your files (Figma designs, development versions, 3D files, images) available for 30 days. Ask us before that window closes and we will happily extend it.

In practice we keep our work in Figma and rarely delete anything, but we are not obliged to store it, and once a project is finished we are not responsible for what happens to those files afterwards. Download everything you need and keep your own copy.

2. Outsourcing and team

We may bring in contractors for parts of your project unless an NDA says otherwise. We stay responsible for quality and delivery either way.

3. Payments

We require an upfront payment and a final payment on completion. We accept Stripe, crypto, Wise and bank transfer.

4. The Concept

The Concept is a fixed deliverable: 1 animated, interactive homepage direction, designed in Figma and vibe coded into a live preview, delivered within 7 days of payment. It does not include revisions. The amount paid is credited toward a full redesign if you start one within 60 days. You keep the concept file either way and may build from it yourself, but you may not resell it.

5. Trial week and monthly work

A trial week covers 5 working days. Monthly work runs in 4 week blocks and can be paused or ended before the next block starts. Work already delivered inside a block is not refundable.

6. Project start

Your project officially starts when the first payment is made, or on the start date we agree in writing.

7. Client inactivity

If we do not hear from you for 2 months, we treat the project as closed and completed unless we have agreed otherwise. We are not obliged to deliver anything further after that.

8. Portfolio rights

We may show your project in our portfolio and on social media, including work in progress. If you would rather we wait until launch, tell us and we will.

9. Design changes

Once you approve a design and it has been developed, further changes need a new agreement or a new scope.

10. Scope adjustments

If we combine or adjust pages, for example merging two pages into one, that does not mean less work was done. Scope changes are part of the process.

11. Refunds

We do not give refunds. This is digital work: the hours go in the moment we start, and they cannot be taken back once they are spent.

12. Liability and warranties

This website and our services are provided as they are. We are not liable for damages resulting from use of the website or from project outcomes.

13. Account responsibility

You are responsible for managing your account and billing details.

14. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms at any time. Continued use means you accept the changes.
